Is a Brazilian poet and journalist. She is the author of two poetry books, both published in Brazil, A Casa Azul ao Meio-dia/ The Blue House Around Noon (Travessa dos Editores, 2005) and Quartos Habitáveis (Confraria do Vento, 2011). She holds an M.F.A. in Writing from Columbia University, and has edited anthologies of Brazilian poetry for magazines Rattapallax (U.S.), Poetry Wales (U.K.) and Papertiger (Australia).Translations of her poems have appeared in a number of magazines in the U.S. and abroad. In the area of film, she is a founder of the Academia Internacional de Cinema, a film school located in São Paulo. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
